Learn how to repair and maintain your bike

  • Introduction to bicycle maintenance and repair

    This introductory course in basic maintenance and repair of your bicycle allows you to quickly become independent in basic tasks. You will thus improve your safety and the longevity of the equipment of your mountain bike or your E-Bike.

    • Cleaning and checking to be done before each outing, and at regular intervals
    • Position adjustment
    • Basic maintenance for transmission, brakes and wheels
    • Basic repairs such as punctures (inner tube and tubeless), repairing a broken chain, changing brake pads, ...
    • The essential tools for basic maintenance, as well as the tools to take on your outings

    We invite you to come with your own bike in order to learn on your own equipment, and take advantage of this course to do a check-up of your bike.

Required levels

This course is an introduction to bicycle mechanics. It is therefore open to anyone wishing to become independent with basic repairs and maintenance, and requires no prerequisites.

Chris has been mountain biking intensely since 1989 and has been a professional mountain bike guide since 2010.

He was product manager and team manager for a famous mountain bike brand.

He is also at the front during the adventures he guides, during which it is necessary to know bike mechanics inside out to respond to all breakdowns.

Since 2010, he has had the pleasure of offering these mountain bike mechanics courses and is delighted to share his knowledge in the field.
